Rottweiler Puppy Training

Keep these four tips in mind when training the Rottweiler puppy.

Rottweiler Puppies1. A puppy class takes advantage of your Rottweiler's aptitude to learn at a young age while exposing him to other people and dogs and teaching you how to teach your dog.

2. Pick a name for your puppy and use it! Name recognition is important in training.

3. The basic commands include come, sit, stay, down and heel.

4. Practice with your Rottweiler daily so that he becomes consistent 100 percent of the time. His reliability in the basic commands is essential for both good manners and his safety.

Everything written by leah from cebu city, IA; excpect the vomiting; is very familiar to me with my 14 week old male rottie. The biting is really of more concern to me right now because he is going to be a very large dog based on his parents and I do not want later issues. As far as the bathroom and housebreaking tips I am also open for any advice I can get since this is my first puppy!! Thanks

we recently bought a rottie dog... her name is Sora. She's a month plus old and I have a problem on her regarding her habit of biting people's legs, is it normal that i let her play bite my legs? and also, she has vomit because she has eaten a piece of paper... i am now keeping anything out of her reach so that she wont make a mess at home.... also, home keeps on going to the bathroom and when i try to block her way there, she keeps on whinning as if there is something inside the bathroom.....

I just brought home a 6 week old little girl. I think I'll name her Uschi! When can I start training? I don't want to give her treats or commands too young.. Also, I have a year old Shepard mix. He needs training, as he was 9 months when I got him. Can I train them together?
