Yorkshire Terrier Puppy Training
Train your Yorkshire Terrier with the basics.

You should get your dog used to riding in the car at an early age. Most dogs love to go for rides and, if given the opportunity, they would gladly take the steering wheel! Teach your puppy some car manners, such as no riding on the driver's lap, no racing about the car from window to window and no chewing on the arm rests.
It is also very important to remember not to take your dog out and leave him alone for even a few minutes in the car. A car can heat up very quickly, and your dog will not be able to cope with the heat.
The safest way to travel in a car with a Yorkie is in his crate. Even though your Yorkie would rather sit on your lap or peer out of the back window, your safest option is the crate.
