Pomeranian puppies1. The Pomeranians compact size and adaptability make him ideal for almost any living environment, while his vibrant personality makes him appealing to many types of dog owners.

2. Two cons of the breed are his tendencies to be vocal and to be an escape artist. You must keep your small dogs safety a top priority.

3. The Poms magnificent coat is not difficult for the pet owner to maintain in top condition.

4. The Pom is active, smart and confident, able to achieve great successes in training and competition.

5. Always supervise your tiny toy around children and other pets.

I own a pom, and have loved every second. be warned though, they are very, very, vocal and need lots of pampering. My little one loves to fallow me where ever I go, and loves rides in the car. Peanut, you are always in my heart!

P.S. My pom never wears a leash unless we are going away from home, and always stays by my side.

this article was spot-on. especially with coat maintenance. people always say "wow, you must spend a lot of time grooming them" about my two poms and its absolutely not true. they're coats are MUCH easier to care for than my golden retriever and always look so magnificent.

thank you for this pom section. this is a special dog for people who understand them. earplugs a must. :)

I agree almost completely with this overeview, however, My Pom is definitely not an 'escape artist'. She has supervised time off leash every day because she reliably stays very close to home. I watch her, but she's rarely on leash unless we're going farther from home.
