Yes, this is disgraceful. I was there and Willow is a tiny, squallish version of the Aussie. The ASCA has a statement AGAINST these tiny Aussies. There is NO variation in the Australian Shepherd for size. There is ONE size, and that is 18-21 inches for females. This just goes to show the many problems the ILP program has created. Passing illegitimate "designer dogs" off as purebreds is a sad level for the AKC to stoop too. How can this happen in an AKC event with what are supposed to be AKC purebreds?? Sad, just sad.

I have competed with my Aussies for 8 years in AKC agility. The 1st place winner in the 12 inch division is a North American Shepherd, The American Kennel Club does not recognize this breed so it was ILPd as an Australian Shepherd. This is dishonest, and unfair to the real Australian Shepherd who should had been invited to this competion.

Hoe dare you advertise Willow as an Australian shephersd. What a disgrace to Akc and real Aussies. The farce needs ot be stopped immediately!
