Well the graduations are finally over for this year and Mommy is pooped out. She spent all day today with her right knee iced down, up in the air and a headache. She says she's old, I say she is just a fragile flower whose petals are easily damaged yet the sweet fragrance remains....I want a raise in my allowance which translates to more treats and toys!
I took pity on her earlier and laid in her lap for a while. Then Bitty and Lucky got up and the 3 of them took a nap. Later Maya came up in the recliner so we all took at least one turn "Mommysitting" except Princess Leia and she was otherwise occupied!
Speaking of Princess Leia, you will never guess what is on our TV as I write this.....A STAR WARS MOVIE.....OMD......I CAN'T BELIEVE IT, WHO WOULD EVER HAVE GUESSED THAT? It is Phantom Menace Episode 1. I think it's probably the best medicine for Mommy. Her knee might still hurt but she won't notice the pain as much...BOL! I am trying a Jedi Mind Trick now, "your knee does not hurt you. You feel like you did when you were very young" Uh oh, it really works, but I screwed up BIG time....Mommy is crawling around the living room trying to pull her self up by the furniture, she is up on her feet now but she is toddling around taking a few steps and falling on her butt. Then she starts all over again. Crawling, pulling up by the furniture, you get the picture! I think I might have made her feel a LITTLE too young maybe......"you are your old self. you are my mommy just like before"...Whew! That's better. I'd rather have the sweet old gal on ice than toddling around underfoot, especially at her size, I mean seriously she was a mighty BIG toddler! Imagine that taking a tumble down the steps. I don't think the baby gate would stop her like it does Bitty! Gotta go see if she has melted yet and needs an ice change!
