Flyball sounds like fun for my dog and me. It seems like it adds some variety in a dog's life-you know, something different than playing and going for a walk.

I am a flyball dog owner ... it is the most fun dog sport I have ever done. Check out teams near you ... they can teach your dog to drop the ball. This is easier to learn than agility and loads of fun.

There are two different organizations that sanction flyball tournaments. Jump heights vary according to which organization that you are particiating in. Other things are the same. NAFA is one organization but another one is U-Fli. Go to for information on them

Oh Thanks 4 the tips! My pug, Seiki. is learning agility and she is learning it fast! I think this would be an easier, better sport for her! She jumps where ever i tell her to so i can handle her off leash and the hurdles are taken care of but shes not too much of a fan of tennis balls...
