Having wanted a Rottie all my life (well, since I was 3, I am a 'bit' older now) this past labor day I finally got a 2 yr old female who is AMAZING! She came from a very loving home and work schedules for her owners became too much for them with traveling so we found each other. She is now a cherished family member after only 2 days, and our older large mixed breed dog and her are hilarious on walks and wrestling. Hopefully she'll learn the cat bathes herself and stop trying to help! {of course, the cat is in charge of the household so that shouldn't take too long}

Well I am in the process of getting a rottweiler puppy and I am getting it because I am a runner and my dad doesn't want anything to happen to me, and since I have the time I am willing to get a dog that can get a good work out with me and have fun doing it, and I have four other pomeranian dogs at home and I have been doing a pretty good job at taking care of them, so what does a another dog gonna hurt?

My rottweiler female was the best dog I ever knew. I'd cheerfully trade in some of my siblings to have her back. If you have time to spend... and if you don't WHY are you getting ANY dog... Rotts are all you could ask, plus a hundred dollars. Be prepared to spend plenty of time in obedience with them... basic and advanced classes and beyond, because their reputations, while not deserved, demand a higher standard of behavior from them... not fair, but there it is. Also, this is a dog that wants a job. Loving and sweet beyond measure, if you give them the structure to make them feel secure... they need to know you're in charge. Wow. The best breed ever. If life were fair, they would live for 1000 years instead of just ten or so. The best.
