Holly albion, New York 2/8/2014 10:57:29 PM Hi!! We are having a difficult time with our Black Lab Mix. He is 4 years old and has been very healthy until recently. Vet believes he may have Granulosium Mural Follicitious...apologize if spelling is incorrect. It has been over a month and we are seeing no improvements in his condition. He had rapid hairloss in patches, in these patches they appear to be white circular patches with a crust/scale...very bumpy. Some of the bumps open to a red sore. His entire skin is full of these white crusts and bumps even where he is not loosing hair. Everything seems to have been ruled out...parasites etc...mites, worms...even allergens. Is it possible this really is a reaction to either a antibiotic that he was given for what we thought was ear mites before these symptoms occured? Or a delayed reaction to the rabies vaccine he had a month prior to symptom break out? We are dying watching him go through this every day and we are unable to give him any relief!! And it just seems that the Vet is lost for any answers or action. Antibiotics and steroids have been administered but they are really NOT helping!!!
