Skidboot showed all of us that a dog will do anything it can to please its master He certainly was one of a kind, or least one in a million...We will all miss him.

I loved, loved, LOVED this dog. I was mesmerized watching him--and I recorded that Pet Star show and showed everyone who came into my house!!! I watched over, and over, and over again. I have always looked for a Blue Healer ever since. You don't find many around the Maine area or surrounding states, however. I thought one (female) would be good on a dairy farm.

Skidboot was an awesome dog. We have an Australian Cattle Dog and Skidboot has inspired us to teach her some similiar tricks.

Like many others I was amazed watching Skidboot do the numbers trick. He was a one in a million dog. I know his owner was devistated from his death.

You are worthy!! Skid Boot can live through you. You have a talent and need to share it with other dogs who can learn from you.

I saw the video - he truly was an amazing dog and sometimes I think, to pursue and keep going on - it is not the same as the "initial" intent - sometimes they make movies, leaving them open to another one and the second is not that great - it's always the "first" that is best........he will always live on no matter what. What a tremendous, wonderful dog - owner too for appreciating the dog.

I think Skidboot is an awesome dog. I wish my dog could do half that stuff.

Th world needs a truly uplifting movie; a family movie. And having spoken with Mr. Hartwig, I believe it would be a movie that could truly inspire us all.

Grateful for the updates on David Hartwig's performances with his wonderfully trained dogs. Skidboot was outstanding and a hard act to follow, but left a legacy of hope (and I also hope David Hartwig will write a training/handling book of recommendations!)
