NSAL does a fantastic job not only in generating adoptions--but causing awareness nationwide for the benefit of Shelter animals. They have a great adoptathon going on this weekend too that will get 100's of animals into good homes--check out their website at www.nsal.org

NSAL also recently offered a new pet id tag on their tour called "Pawtags". The company donates 72% of sale to Shelters and the tag has 24/7 trained Live Operator Search and Rescue features for only $9.99. Check it out at www.pawtags.com - its a great deal because although microchips are good and recommended--they only work "after" a pets been rescued and in a facility that hopefully ahs the right scanner to read that
chip.

Pawtags also has a nationwide PAWS Alert search for tag members that gives them a list of all Animal Control facilties within 50 square miles-which is the ony place lost pets go. Does a cool, automatic Lost Pet poster too!

My dog came from the SPCA - she had been abused, and was depressed, ready to give up on humans, when I got her. I am glad I saved her life, aswell asacquiring aloving, fun
companion.
My gratitude to all the people who care about animals.
