Excellent tips! I'd also add pets should travel in a secured crate in case of accident, & to have their own "comfort zone". When arriving at your final destination, always have the number of the nearest emergency vet hospital by the phone or in your wallet. Of course, it's always wise to bring a towel or toys that have the scent of home to help your pet relax1
