I have the same issue and I live in Mexico City... which is even more difficult to get premium food. Check out The Honest Kitchen, their Force food is recommended for dog with crystals in the urine and is neutral PH. They have a auto shipping program in the US as the cost of the food is the same as prescription diet. This is an all natural food which is the best you can feed your dog. Otherwise check the April 2010 issue of The Whole Dog Journal which gives you pointers as how to manage this at home. Best of lucks!
