Very interesting article. I think many dog bites could be avoided if children were properly supervised and taught to avoid approaching a dog they do not know.

I think the key conclusion is supervision and kids who don't behave around animals. Dogs actually have quite a bit of self control. Otherwise we'd be seeing tons more cases.

I have one of the sweetest, most affectionate dogs but I always warn strangers to be cautious; you never know what can happen. I spoil my little guy like the best of them, but he is still a dog, and any animal can be unpredictable.
