Some cancers are so hard to diagnose. It took a month and a half to figure out my beloved 5 year old has leukemia complicated by myositis of the head muscles. Too late. Just doing palliative care now. My instincts told me something was wrong early, but because of his age they just didn't know what to test for so tested for everything. It took too much time. Trust your instincts with your pets and research on your own.

Nice article. Having just lost a dog to lymphoma, (after 19 months of treatment) I know first hand what dogs and people go thru.

I lost a7 1/2 year old bloodhound to cancer, it staeted as a lttle pump on his muzzel and had it checked by a vet showed it to me on a screen it was a hole white matter with a tiney dark spot in it he said nothing to worry about second opinion ot able to operate as it could be into the eye nose ear and even to the brain. Made me sick and he died in my arms .After I lost him I read a artical in Dog Fancy whAT SOME OF THE THINGS THE holistic vets are saying some of the causes are comming from ferlitzer on lawns and gardens weed and bug killers plastic bowle and dog food bag lineers. Please be watchfull of these things.
