I had Chewie entered in this contest and his entry/picture is no longer here. Can anyone tell me why?

It's amazing to read Susy's story, and I am not easily amazed. WHO would throw away such an obviously GREAT dog? Hard to conceive of a dog going from the pound in such bad shape to doing the job she does for America's wounded Soldiers. We could all take a lesson from that plucky GSD. Good going, Susy and Debbie!

Some of these dogs aren't really rescued dogs.=( If you got from a pet store you didn't really "rescue"it.If you got from a shelter then yes you did save it because it would be put to sleep.Pet stores don't do
But on the bright side, there are some really good rescue stories here;I enjoy reading them.

Love, Happiness & contentment is what I see looking at your picture. A better mommy Bennett could not have wished for.

What a great story about Bennett!! I was truly touched!! Being a dog lover myself I know exactly what you mean when you say unconditional love. There is nothing better than looking at those sweet little eyes and a little or big kiss on the cheek each and everyday no matter what is going on in your day

Thanks for sharing your story!

While another of Debbie's dogs trained my Kaeci-girl, Susy has trained and is training many of Kaeci's friends while being a friend and mentor to Kaeci herself. Susy is such a sweet doggie and loves her job. I can not imagine her life being needlessly wasted. Bless you Debbie. Susy has helped so many people with PTSD and TBI and she will help many more for years to come.

It has been such a joy to watch the transformation in Bennett. He was such a timid little guy, and now he has blossomed into happy and social little man.

The abuse of such loving animals is impossible to understand. Thank you for sharing your story of Bennett and how these precious animals "give" as much as the receive.

Beth - your dedication to the Little Dog Rescue is so inspiring and it's always heartening to read the stories and see the "before & after" pictures of these little sweeties. Thank goodness for heroes like you to stand up for those with no voices.
