We lost our lab Suzie at age 14 - 8 months ago. We have a new pup - age 2. Star, new lab, we adopted in Nov. Wow! We were not prepared for the differences in the
Suz was calm and extremely lovable. Not big on training. 118 lbs... big
Star is like super dog. runs, jumps, is faster than lightning. she wants the loving, constantly.

many other differences. i thought all labs were alike.
all dogs are beautiful in their own way.

Oh my gosh! I love dogs!!! Even my neighbors guard dogs are cute to me.My favorite types of dogs are Golden Labs, Beagles, Bulldogs, Chihuahuas, Huskies, and the Doberman Pinscher. Dogs are so adorable and playful. Elaine is so right! No matter how they look from the inside, dogs are indescribable- I cant put them into words. I loooooove them! TJ, you're so funny- "All dogs are wonderful..." (calm face) kay whatever.BYE!!!!!

Our darling puppy, Daisy, is the most loving and intelligent pup we have ever known. I can't tell you how much joy she brings to our lives and to everyone who meets her. Dog ranking is not a big deal for me.... but the Cavalier is a relatively new breed listed with the AKC...and I have read it is moving up the list very quickly......

I'm a little surprised that Chihuahua is 18th. They are very popular in our community. I figured they would be top 5. It's ok by me. I like big dogs.

I don't care how they are ranked - if you love a dog and he/she is your companion, what difference does it make how they are rated. I have a corgi and a terrier and not the least bit concerned how they are rated. They are the best in my eyes.

What continues to mystify is why wiener dogs are not at the #1 position where they deserve to be, as they always have. Perhaps there is a supply problem? Nothing else makes sense.
