A new credit card from the AKC (AKC Visa Card or AKC Visa Signature Card) is now available. With no annual fee, cardholders can display their pet’s photo on their credit card by uploading a photo and also earn points for dollars spent using the credit card.
Three reward points for every dollar spent at pet stores, veterinary offices, purchases made from American Kennel Club by mail, phone, online at akc.org and at the AKC booth at dog shows.
Two reward points for every dollar spent on gas and groceries.
One reward point for every other dollar spent using the Visa credit card.
Points can be redeemed online for a variety of rewards, such as merchandise, gift cards, travel and more.
Daphna Straus, VP, business development at the American Kennel Club, says, "In partnership with Alliance Data Retail Services, we’ve designed a credit card program that will offer dog owners increased purchasing flexibility and added benefits to drive an even higher level of customer loyalty and satisfaction.”
A percentage of the net sales on the AKC Visa Card will be shared with the AKC.
Applications for the AKC Visa Card or AKC Visa Signature Card will be available at major canine competitions. You can also apply online at akc.org/visa, where you can find more details about APR rates, balance transfer and cash advance APR, and minimum interest charged.
