Hi! My name is Taco (R.I.P. Nov. 5, 2009). I am a Labrador Retriever from Yakima, WA

Nicknames: Tacie-boy Teeco Taco Bell
Birth Day, Month and Year: 10/1/1995
Age: 20
Weight: 51-100 lbs.
Gender: M
Education: I was trained when I was just a pup. I wait for my food politely, I let mom go out the door first. I know all of my obedience commands, although sometimes I have to be reminded.

My pet peeves: My feet being touched. Being bugged by little kittens (I'm afraid of them), they love me. Bleh.
My hobbies: I love to go exploring on our five acre property in Central Washington State. When it's hot(like every day in the summer) I love to run down to the irrigation pond and just stand in it. I won't swim (my family call me a broken Lab, how rude! I'm not broken-see, here I am!) but I LOVE to wade up to my chest. Catching bugs. Going for walks/hikes since we don't have any dog parks around anymore.
My favorite hang out spot? Wherever my family is, and in our pond.
My favorite grub: Purina, Pedigree, and bad people food.
My favorite treat: Porkhide twists from Costco
My favorite tricks: Looking for bugs. I'm a fanatic about it. If my mom does anything that has to do with the ground, I'm right there.
What I love about my owner: I couldn't have had a better owner, as she is a dedicated and passionate lover of all things dog. I usually find her on the computer looking up dog stuff, reading dog books/catalogs/that month's Dog Fancy, or talking dog with anyone who will listen. She always is up-to-date on health/training issues, because if she didn't I would probably not be as healthy as I am now. I also have another mom who lives with my sister Skye (check out her profile!) in Puyallup, WA. She is just as passionate about dogs. I love her just as much!! I have been able to go to many functions and be socialized-Tacoma Humane Society's Dog-A-Thon, Puyallup Main Street Association's Canine Fest, and to my favorite dog park, Grandview in Des Moines, WA. I can't see myself living without them. P.S. I don't even mind when they dress me up for Halloween as Superman! The perk about that is my costume disguises me from my kitty brothers and they get scared and run away from me! That will show them for hissing at me when they were little.
Motto No matter how old you are, you can still be a pup at heart!
