Wow! Thanks soooooooooooooooooooooo much for this grrrrrrrreat honor! I am thrilled! Mom was so worried,but I don't know why! All my grrreat friends were all helping me! At the moment,I am in heaven,eating all the crackers (and the DQ ice cream one of you sent)you gave to me! *hands one over to an angel friend* You guys are all so great,and I hope all of you at some point have or will win this sparkly badge. I think about the old family that ahd me for nine years,and just because I went blind,left me at a shelter! But it was for the best. Although I had lots of problems,(seperation anxiety,constant roooooooing,and a BIG puddle problem)I was loved dearly! All my friends that helped were grrrreat,and if you don't know me,or haven't read my incredible story,it is on my motto! My friends that do know me were very helpful. Lana,Clovis,Taylonnie,The Texas pups,Alabama Gang,Texas Trio,Merlin,Stony and many more all helped a one eyed blind beagle get his big win?
From momma Karli:*Leans over,to the shelf with all Wink's pictures,and a beagle plaque,a ceramics bone with his name on it,and sighs. There is an empty spot in the right corner.Then,something magically appears on the shelf. A glowing,shimmering badge. She looks up,and sees a two eyed Wink eating crackers,and playing with friends in heaven."do you like the badge?" He asks. "I won it for you,for all you do for me. It's a token of my thanks." Then he is gone. Leaving only the badge behind.But at night,he wears his own badge. You can see it shimmering if you look up. And remember his story.And the love he gave out through his life. Sort of like the light coming from the badge that tells other shelter dogs to have hope.
So,thanks again,and I look forward to seeing you all abck again for my wedding with Lana. It is going to be on Valentine's day at the cafe owned by Heidi please come! thanks again for DOTD!
