Happy Mothers' Day!
I hope you had a wonderful nice spring day yesterday and enjoyed a lovely Mothers' Day. It's beautiful here and I'm so very happy that the cementing of the new patio is all done. That was tiring! Mama worked two nights in a row. But it was worth it. Hard to blog and cement at the same time though.
I helped a lot. We have this huge ground compactor. It's about twice the size of a lawnmower and twice as loud. It didn't bother me one bit. I would stand right next to it as it was pounding the ground. I also helped dig a bit. I also wanted to help smooth out the cement with my paws but mama yelled at me. I managed to sneak onto the new patio the next morning though when mama wasn't looking. Unfortunately it was already hard and I left no footprints. So, what was the point?
We also went on a really fun hike in the mountains last week. We walked for about 6 hours and we found snow up there! I love snow. Especially when it's warm! Mama is kind of limping around now though after hiking and then making the cement form, and then pouring the cement. She makes such a big fuss about things! I'm not tired in the least!

We are saying lots of prayers that your ultrasound goes ok and all is well. I bet you miss Hope so much..it's hard for us as much as it is for our pawrents. My brother was my best furiend ever..and I was very sad when he passed..so I know how you feel. Give Hopie Too a chance..she's young and will start to learn and calm down soon..hopefully..hehe. My younger sis, Sam squeaks toys ALL the time..and sometimes I have to leave the room. Those young ones will drive you crazy..but they will also make you laugh..a lot! Did you ever go for laser therapy? I go once a week..every Fri. morning..it helps me move a little better. I hope you're having a peaceful night. XO..GIANT hugs..Zeus

Faith were keeping you in our prayers Exam goes well on Friday. Faith have momma try this when Gracie was brought into our Mom's home (she was a BIG BARKER) .. When she was at our House .. Nonnie would make a SHH!!! SHH!!! noise and now Gracie acts much better. With Hopie (she's in a Honeymoon Period) as time goes on - she'll settle-in - Nonnie remembers when Gracie would not come near her .. she bit Nonnie 2 times and it HURT REALLY BAD (now Gracie jumps on Nonnie's Lap and cuddles for tummy rub's). Gracie how feels trustful and loved. So glad our Momma rescued Gracie. She came into our Pak at age 4 .. was already imprinted from her pervious owners, then given to another owner. How is your spring going? We are enjoying ours very much and looking so forward to sUmMeR! It's been about 50°F every day but today it reached 70, woohoo! We have 4 feet of packed snow that will take a long time to melt. Mom is really looking forward to it all melting so she can go riding on the dirt bike trail that starts right next to our house. The other day she went riding with her dad and brother. They accidentally drove on someone's driveway and the guy came running out of his house giving them an obscene hand gesture. Boy was he mad. And it was just an accident! We'll be sure to never go THAT way again. (Wouldn't want to be fired on or something) BOL! Besides that they had a very enjoyable time and found some fun new trails :) Mom has been taking Peaka and me on bicycle rides every day and we are just loving them. Sure are pooped when we get back home though. hehe.
On our walk Thursday evening I found a big [dead] DELICIOUS chicken. I was like, oh wow, someone must have left this here just for me! Yippee!! And then you know what?...Mom stole it!! (what in the world?!) but before she could, some of its body fluids got on me. I was like yum yum yum and mom ewwww ewwww ewwww. Bol....So mom drove me to the DIY dog wash in Soldotna. So much for chicken dinner....
There's something we'd like very much to share with you (well besides the chicken I was planning on inviting all my buddies over for, BOL) Mom just finished a little video of us doing one of our favorite things. It's our very first video and we sure hope you'll check it out:

Hi Faith! Congratulations!
Congrats on getting a new sister! It is quite an adjustment but hopefully you will adapt to having her around fast and then you guys can start doing "sister stuff" together and have a little "girl-talk".

8==8 Hello Faith! 8==8
Long time no bark! How are you doing? I sure have missed all my DC furiends. It's been real busy around here but everyone is well.....almost everyone. Mom's sweet hamster, Oliver recently had a tragic death due to a careless incident involving one of our cats. Oliver was very dear to us and mom feels so bad about what happened. Thank you again to all the pawesome pups who went over to smallanimalchannel and voted for him back in August for COTD. Oliver won COTM in March and we thought it was strange that after being on SAC for over two years, he died the same month he was COTM.
Mom and her brother each got a gerbil, Tortellini & Fettucini (affectionately nicknamed the lil noodle heads). They are so cute and fun. If you'd like to see them you can check out their web pages on smallanimalchannel. Torty's on page #231924 and Fettu's on #231274.
Has spring arrived at your place yet? The other day we got our first real rainfall. We still have tons of snow though and it will take several heavy downpours to melt all of it. The roads are no good for skijoring anymore so we've been going for walks instead. Speaking of skijoring, mom has been working on a skijor video of different clips people have taken of us to share with our friends. Mom's never made movies before so she's just getting to know the programs. Do you have a particular favorite? We are looking very forward to finishing it so you can see. Mom's just been too busy lately to work on it. Right now we are at our lodge at Lake Clark. We've been here since last Friday. Mom's cousins from Norway came to Alaska for a visit and they are here too. They can speak English but they're always talking to each other in Norwegian. It's driving mom crazy because she has no idea what they're saying. She has decided she HAS to learn Norwegian. hehe. We're going back home tomorrow. We had an absolutely amazing time here at our lodge (playing in the mountains with snowmachines, snowboarding, and ice-fishing) but it will feel good to be back home.

Remembering Joanna
Remembering Joanna
All through the month of April we on the Horse Channel want to honour a dear friend who passed away last year. In February her beloved pony, Pixie Dust, also passed away to join her in the next life.
Please come and support Joanna (RIP) and her pony, Pixie Dust (RIP) 101958 on the Horse Channel for horse of the month. We would greatly appreciate your daily votes for her. And don't forget that you can blog on the HC without an account.
Perhaps some of you remember me mentioning Joanna last year when she died. She was a very special friend. She was bedridden for many years but didn't lose her happy spirit. She was on the HC for 3 years and blogged regularly, always having a kind word for those in trouble. Not once did any of us suspect that she wasn't well! At the age of 34 she passed away peacefully at home.
On my pages I have photos of Joanna in bed being visited by Pixie Dust. She had a wonderful relationship with her pony and made friends easily with all those who were blessed to have her in their lives.
