Melian (In Memory of Tiny) How are you doing? I hope you had a happy Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful day with lots of good food and good company. I wanted to stop by on the day before and wish you a Happy Thanksgiving but the DC was down! ;( __________________________________________________________________________________ And then I wanted to stop by on the day itself but we were too busy stuffing ourselves with stuffing. And then Friday my kitty brother won cotd. And then the weekend we were eating again, and so on…. Every day I told mama I wanted to blog but we didn't get a chance! __________________________________________________________________________________ And yet again we are burning the midnight oil as I finally persuaded mama that enough was enough. I didn't want to wait any longer! How was your celebration? Do you have all your Christmas stuff up yet? __________________________________________________________________________________ Can you believe that December starts tomorrow? This year has flown by. It's pouring rain here which I'm not too happy about. Mama was happy until she had to go out in it and feed the horses. She came back wet, dirty, and frustrated. hehe I did NOT help her. She's on her own in bad weather. __________________________________________________________________________________ I hope you're staying warm and keeping dry. Here's a vote for you!

They removed 7 teeth and all the masses in his mouth except one that was under his tongue. His body temp started to drop and the mass under the tongue would have taken too long. The vet doesn't seem to think it is cancer related! YAY! They are awaiting results on that. Ann sounded very optimistic and very happy Scooter is doing so well after the surgery. Mom later tried her on a 2.5 ounce jar of Turkey & Turkey Gravy baby food and she ate it all up so mom gave her 3 units of insulin. Mom decided to mix 1/2 a jar of the baby food with 1/8 can of w/d and she ate that all up. Mom has not had to give her any of the sedation pill yet today, but mom expects she will towards evening. Mom forgot to tell you that Carly is also down to 13.6 pounds. Dr. Liz also told mom and dad that Carly is at risk of a heart attack, too, with her heart rate being so low. Carly is still hanging in there and we appreciate all your prayers!!!! Carly's * * * Dad took a friend with him this morning to his appointments and got back home about 1:30 this afternoon. They told dad he is doing good on his C-PAP machine. As far as his Gastro Ultra Sound, his VA Doctor will call once the results are in. The ER Vet had to give Carly a sedative and counter act injection as well for the Buprenorphine (pain med). Seems she may have a reaction to it. ♥ Mom and dad had to take Carly to see Dr. Liz this afternoon (Monday) for a re-check. Carly's heart rate is very slow so an EKG was done to see if there was a blockage, but there is none. Not for sure why it's so slow without more testing. She's also very restless like anxiety so the next 48 hours will tell if it's her time for her Forever Sleep. She was given a sedative and antibiotic shot plus mom also have sedatives on hand in case Carly needs any. Please keep her in your prayers!!!! Thank You!!!! ♥ Dad has two appointments at the Roseburg VA Hospital tomorrow (Tuesday) for a Gastro Ultra Sound then also his one month C-PAP check up.
