How We Met?
We had a had a wonderful friend (Dog) name Mutters for many years. That we had got from a Humane Society in Anna, Ohio when we were driving truck. The little guy was due to be put down in about 15 minutes. He was so tiny, they told us that he was about 4 weeks old, That they found him in a snow storm beside the river. We couldn’t let them put him down after we held him. Although we didn’t know it at the time we took him, He was so very sick, He had pneumonia, Tapeworms, Provo, and about 3 or 4 other things that should have killed him. It took hundreds of dollars and round the clock care of myself and my husband, while we took turn with him and driving the truck. To keep him alive. He got cancer and had to be put down. We loved that dog so much, that the thought of getting another one about killed us. He was such a special dog that it was unbearable losing him. But my loving son and daughter-in-law could take it or believe it, because I had raise dogs all my life, never had been without one or 2, up to sometimes seven at a time. They know how much I love animals and they felt that I needed one back in my life. So as soon as they thought it was safe to try it they bought, Shelby for us. Knowing that once I saw and held her I wouldn’t be able to let her go either. That is how she became our little girl .
