Paws for Pawrayer Updated with prayer: A biopsy will be done 1:30 p.m. on Monday, the 4th. I am having some tests done too, so, will have to be at the hospital by 10:30 a.m. Hopefully, after the biopsy is done and sent out to the lab for testing, I will have the results in time for my appt with my Dr on Weds, the 6th. Paws for Pawrayer UPDATED: Hello Everyone-today was my appt. with the surgeon, and it looks as if I do have to get the Biopsy surgery done soon. He said that yes, as soon as He saw the swollen lymph nodes on my arm, that He recommends the surgery sooner than later. I told him that my next appt with my Oncologist is next Weds. so, He said well, I can do the surgery on Monday, how is that? So, Monday will be the day @ 1p.m. at the hospital. I don't when I will have to be at the hospital yet, they will probably give me a call about that sometime this weekend. The Dr seemed very nice and I did hear from a few people in the office that He is a good surgeon. I was so worried last night and did not sleep for one minute! So, I am really tired today and just do not feel good this evening. Hoping to get a good night's sleep tonight!! HA! HA! Once the biopsy is done, then they will send the sample to the lab, and I don't know how long it will take for them to check it out. Will have to wait and see how it all goes. The last week or so I have also had a sore throat on the left side, and maybe it does have something to do with the infection in the lymph nodes. I am not certain about that, but, I am just wondering. The symptoms that I had two years ago when the cancer returned are the same ones I am having this time. The swollen lymph nodes under my arm, and the itchiness in my chest. Of course, I won't know anything for sure until the biopsy test and lab work is done sometime next week. Was hoping that the cancer would be long gone and would not return. I just wanted you all to get the date of the surgery and I will email again afterwards to let you know whatever else I find out. I plan on digging down deep and fighting this thing again, whatever it turns out to be. Have a good evening. Take care. Love, Patty
