How We Met?
Long story short, my older brother got Lacy because he had wanted a dog for six years and needed to wait until our other dog, Sage ( a Golden Retriver) passed on. Once he did, after waiting a while, he found Lacy. My oldest brother got Trigger so that they could be hunting companions, and so that Lacy and Trigger could have litters. Unfortunatly (for them, I'm glad), Lacy is a "weird woman" and comes into cycles about every 8 months or so. As a result, they've only had two litters. The first was a litter of nine- 4 black and 5 yellow. The next litter was of 10-3 black and 7 yellow. The day after they were born (June 6, 2007) one of the yellow males lost his life. Then, exactly a month later, another yellow female died...we were heart broken!
