Melian (In Memory of Tiny) How are you doing? I hope you had a happy Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful day with lots of good food and good company. I wanted to stop by on the day before and wish you a Happy Thanksgiving but the DC was down! ;( __________________________________________________________________________________ And then I wanted to stop by on the day itself but we were too busy stuffing ourselves with stuffing. And then Friday my kitty brother won cotd. And then the weekend we were eating again, and so on…. Every day I told mama I wanted to blog but we didn't get a chance! __________________________________________________________________________________ And yet again we are burning the midnight oil as I finally persuaded mama that enough was enough. I didn't want to wait any longer! How was your celebration? Do you have all your Christmas stuff up yet? __________________________________________________________________________________ Can you believe that December starts tomorrow? This year has flown by. It's pouring rain here which I'm not too happy about. Mama was happy until she had to go out in it and feed the horses. She came back wet, dirty, and frustrated. hehe I did NOT help her. The Border Collie is very intelligent and aware of its surroundings. It is able to be trained to a high degree. This is one of the hardest working dogs thriving on praise. 2. Border Collies are represented among the leaders in competitive levels in various sports, excelling in agility skills, obedience, sheepdog trials and Frisbee™. These competitions are right up their alley, and they are commonly used and often win. For those who wish to reach high levels in dog sports, the Border Collie is a gift from heaven. 3. The Border Collie is not recommended for apartment life. They are very active indoors and do best with acreage. 4. Physical exercise alone is not sufficient for this very intelligent and highly energetic dog. They want to work and must do so with body and mind as one, carrying out different tasks. Fast and agile, these lively little dogs have boundless energy and thrive on hard work and play. They should also be taken on a long, brisk daily walk

Brutus Maximus giving a shout out from Michigan! Wow! It is so great to hear from you. Mom was thinking about you the other day. We have been doing well. We're getting ready for winter here. Today was beautiful in the 70s but now the rain has started and tomorrow will only be in the 50s. We have a new neighbor dog and she is a husky. She is just over a year old. She is so beautiful. We haven't warmed up to her completely yet but mom is hoping we will eventually. She says if we do she can come over and play in the yard with us. Her yard isn't fenced in and ours is. When mom has taken care of her she brought her to our yard to run but Max and I like to chase her and nip at her so we don't get to stay outside all of the time she is here. Mom is hoping eventually we will get along with her. Her name is Athena and she loves mom. If she comes outside when mommy is out she drags her mommy over. Hope you have a good night.
