How We Met?
I was running out in a horrible, scary storm. A nice man who worked at the marina called me to him. I jumped in his car. I saw him using his phone to text someone. Later, I found out he was texting my soon-to-be Mommy, telling her he had an animal emergency. We pulled up to an apartment complex and a lady came out with a collar and leash to put on me. She also brought out a basset hound, who was going to be my sister! I went inside, but was pretty scared still. Pretty soon, I got used to my Mommy and my TWO sisters: Delia and a kitty named Jasmine. My mommy took me to the vet to have me checked out. Apparently I was very sick with heartworm. My Mommy was frantic because she couldn't afford the treatment. I remember her saying that she would do anything to make me better. My grandparents paid to save me and I am SO grateful. So is my Mommy! I am a happy girl and I've been with my family for over 5 years now!
