How We Met?
My owner got me off of Pet Finder, and she says this about me, "Simba is an absolutely adorable 35-pound 9-month-old Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever or mix puppy who seeks a loving home. Bottom line, dogs don't come any cuter than Simba. First, he is one of the most beautiful dogs we have seen. He has a gorgeous rich golden-colored coat and a white stripe down his nose that is so bright, it looks painted on. He was so named because his head and fur reminded us of a lion's mane. Second, he has the world's best personality. Simba is all boy. In fact, he should be wearing a baseball cap on sideways. If there's a mud puddle or bur patch to be found, Simba is in it. But no matter what he gets into, it's impossible to be mad at him because he is so sweet, loving, adorable, and wonderful. Simba would be a perfect pet for just about any wonderful family because he fits in everywhere. He currently runs around and plays with other puppies and dogs for hours each day. Simba likes to stay out and lay in the sun, so he is happiest in our home, where he can enjoy the outdoors as much as possible. Simba is the kind of dog who would love to go everywhere with his family, and the kind of dog his family would want to take everywhere. Simba's special need is that he apparently sustained some type of trauma and resultant injury to his left hind leg as a young puppy and thus does not bear much weight on that leg. However, it doesn't slow him down a bit. His leg has been X-rayed and seen by a vet whose initial report indicates there may not be much that can be done now because of the injury's location and because the injury is so old. However, we are consulting with an orthopedic surgeon and will follow his advice. Simba is otherwise very healthy."
