We are so sorry we have been absent from the DC lately but we have been hit hard with family problems and we had to take a break just to cope. We are watching Star Wars VI Return of the Jedi on Spike tv AGAIN, for the umpteenth time. Mommy knows the script and could probably play any part except for Chewbacca cause he is tall and has lots of hair (Mommy falls short -tee hee -on BOTH counts). She has all 6 movies on dvd, bought the BluRay set when it came out, she made Daddy take her to see Episode I in 3D at the Movie Theater, she even has a lightsaber that is a replica of Anakin's from Episode III hanging on the wall in a holder Daddy made for her in his workshop!WHY does she feel the need to watch it EVERY time it's on tv?
I really love Mommy but for Heaven's sake she is 55 years old and needs to get a life. What is it about these movies that captivate her? I mean have you looked, I mean REALLY looked at what these "people" look like? Right now we are watching the strangest bunch of yahoos in something called Jabba's Palace and they are downright scary looking! Mommy must not be wired right or something has short circuited because she can't seem to take her eyes off the black box where they all apparently live, or at least visit a lot! Why she wants to look at THEM when she could look at Daddy instead, is something I'll never understand! Daddy isn't scary looking at all unless he's mad, but that's another story. He doesn't have things growing out of his head and his skin isn't blue OR green unless he's sick! I WOULD RATHER LOOK AT DADDY! Maybe Mommy thinks if she watches those movies enough, she will be able to "use the force"to control me when I am not listening or minding. You know, bring me back from the "darkside" Bahhahahaha! She is a little obsessed but in a way, she's kinda cute. This little old lady like a Jedi in training, or a "Padewan" as they call them in the movies. I will have to keep you updated on the apprentice's progress. BOL! Gotta go! Han Solo just defrosted!

Wow! Easter will be here and I am still stuck at St. Patrick's. I went to the kennel last weekend and I played so much that I had to rest up for a few days.
Our back yard is muddy so Mom made me wear boots, then I made Mom go and look all over the yard for one of the boots (I lost it under the evergreen - don't know how that happened). Happy Easter, don't hurt the Easter Bunnie.

howdy
Another crazy week. Besides being busy, mom’s allergies are going crazy. Of course living in Middle TN one has to expect that. but it is a few weeks early. Mom and oma have been planting some stuff every day too so that doesn’t help their allergies either. The renters will not be leaving until April 6th. But mom has washed her hands of them and is going to let oma deal with them. still no money. But we will all just be glad when they are gone. I had a good time the other day. walk in the park, chewing on grass there too, home depot and a few other stores. I was pretty tired after all that. the two stray dogs are still hanging around. Too bad one is a pit or we would call the dog control. They wont adopt them out. so mom doesn’t want to see that happen. Mom has been really tired lately so we haven’t been able to do very much. we still hope that after this weekend we will be back on more often. But for now, it will probably be the weekend till we are back. Leaving you some steak, sweet tater and apple treats and a bag of duck jerky too. wishing you an awesome night and fabulous rest of the week. Well, even tho' Dad put a birdhouse with a plexiglass viewing hole in it against the window, that silly bluebird, and her mate, too keep trying to get in the windows!. She is the most persistant and tenatious! She bumps and pecks at all 4 windows, the bay window and the kitchen sink window and this morning she came right to the front door!
Boy! That's all we need in here. Another bird! We got 2 in here already, only Pooh (nicknamed pooper. How appropriate, a BIRD called pooper - BOL) and Ty are in cages. This silly little bird would come in and fly around the house pooping on everything, maybe even me! Oh my gosh! That would mean a bath for me....ewwwww! I am sure in Mommy's eyes bird poop would rate right up there with the cow poop I found after the neighbors cows came to visit! I'm sure you know what I did after finding that, don't you? I practiced that trick Mommy taught me, you know the one, "roll over", Yep, executed it perfectly and Mommy, for some reason, didn't like it! She taught it to me. Go figure! They teach you a trick, tell you what a good boy you are when you get it down pat, then when you do it, completely spontaneous on your own, they get upset. So there was a little cow poop there, what's the big deal? If it didn't bother me what difference could it possibly have made to mommy? Why do they make such a " Big Stink" about it....pun intended! BOL!
Maya has never gotten a bath since she got adopted by us. Mommy told her she gets her toenails trimmed, a haircut and a bath before Easter! She even has a new little pink bling flower to wear on her collar Easter Sunday. I have a white bow tie. I am wearing it in my profile picture along with the always attractive "bunny ears"....sure to exude my tough guy masculinity, if you care to have a sneak peek! Hopefully since I posed for that utterly humiliating photo session for Mommy without without any trouble, she will decide the rugged "James Bond" masculine look will do it for me and I will get to skip the primping before we go to Grandma's for Easter Dinner!
Well, I better stop my story telling for now. I have rambled on about poop long enough! I don't want you to think my blog "stinks" hehehe BOL!

Well it's been a few days since I have been able to really blog and Boy have I missed you guys, so hold on because your luck is about to run out, I'M BACK!
On Saturday Mommy was hangin' ouit with Maya in her re-
cliner and Dad had me on the couch and my skin cousin Marolyn calls and says we are supposed to "all" meet in Downtown St Charles at the riverfront for the Shriners Circus Parade. Well mommy and daddy and my Aunt and Uncle when she called them were caught by surprise and hurried to get dressed at the last minute
cause they thought they changed their minds cause thats what their son had said! Well GUESS WHAT when she said "ALL" she didn't mean "ALL". They were gonna be gone for quite a while so I got put back in the crate, Princess Maya was left loose, but still at home, and once again the "frog and the princess" Missed the boat. (I didn't even know they had a boat) SURPRISE !!
Then me and Maya went to Yappy Hour, AKA Puppy Play- time Sunday at Petco.We were supposed to have a tricks class afterward but we didn't.The trainer that was gonna teach it is being transferred to another store so after Easter me and Maya will go to tricks classes taught by my previous trainer Laurie! When Mommy took
us over and put us in the fenced in play area, we stayed right at the gate looking at her.When she walked to one side, so did we! finally Mommy disappeared into the store.She tried to sneak up at the other end to look at a little dog dress...Not on my watch! She doesn't know if I heard her walk and recognized it, saw her at the end immediately or smelled her scent, but I was all over her like stink on doo-doo! I'm not gonna tell her how I knew, but if I smelled her, maybe it's because SHE is spoiled rot- ten! hehehe! Maya was really nervous and a bit scared I think, but we pretty much stayed together. Mommy finally got to see us before we saw her for an itty bitty short time because there was a 22 year old State Trooper that brought his GSD puppy to play and he let Mommy stand behind him and peek at us over his shoulder
and that worked a little bit, but we would eventually see her and BAM! there we were again!
I don't quite get it, though. Usually when we go to Petco, Mommy would say "Chewie Come" and want me to come to her. We were at Petco, I came and Mommy wanted me to go away?!What is THAT?
Well that pretty much was my weekend except They kept going to the neighbors twice a day and they were just there for dinner Thursday night, and the neighbors were in Florida! NOT FAIR!
