How We Met?

Mommy had always loved Cavaliers, and her friend's vet happened to be a Cavalier breeder. She brought me home when I was 4 years old and has loved me ever since &hearts I was born in England and brought to the U.S. as a young pup [maybe that's why I act like such royalty...BOL], am a finished AKC champion now retired from the show ring, and am spoiled rotten 24/7!

Hello Woody

How are you doing? Sure has been awhile since we've stopped by. Yesterday was our 2 year anniversary on DC. We are so happy to be a part of DC, we have made many great furriends like you. Its another cold day outside. So we are stuck in the house. Our Mom is gonna give us a bath tonight. Mom says she needs to take her camera out & start using it. So Dad doesn't think he just wasted his cash buying Mom an expensive camera for Christmas. Anywho, we need to start working on our Valentine's photos. We sure hope Mom doesn't make us wear a stupid costume, hehe! Have a wonderful day, Hugs,

Miss you Woody! PLEASE VOTE HONEY 218255 DOTM JANUARY! Hey guys!!!!! Soooo sorry about the no c/p blogs for a couple days. We keep loosing internet. Been voting daily for all my dc furiends when I have the chance though! Thank you ALL for sticking with me through this PAWSOME journey! I hope we can stay this close. So today im just gonna do a short blog. Lets get started These are the answers from dogs when asked "How many dogs does it take to put in a light bulb?" Golden Retriever: The sun is shining, the day is young, we've got our whole lives ahead of us, and you're inside worrying about a stupid burned-out light bulb? Border Collie: Just one. And I'll replace any wiring that's not up to code. Dachshund: I can't reach the stupid lamp! Toy Poodle: I'll just blow in the Border collie's ear and he'll do it. By the time he finishes rewiring the house, my nails will be dry. Rottweiler: Go Ahead! Make me! Shi-tzu: Puh-leeze, dah-ling. Let the servants. . . . Lab: Oh, me, me!!! Pleeeeeeze let me change the light bulb! Can I? Can I? Huh? Huh? Can I? Malamute: Let the Border collie do it. You can feed me while he's busy. Cocker Spaniel: Why change it? I can still pee on the carpet in the dark. Doberman Pinscher: While it's dark, I'm going to sleep on the couch. Mastiff: Mastiffs are NOT afraid of the dark. Hound Dog: ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ Chihuahua: Yo quiero Taco Bulb. Irish Wolfhound: Can somebody else do it? I've got a hangover. Pointer: I see it, there it is, right there... Greyhound: It isn't moving. Who cares? Australian Shepherd: Put all the light bulbs in a little circle... Old English Sheep Dog: Light bulb? Light bulb? That thing I just ate was a light bulb? Love, Honey P.S Thanks again everyone!

Good Night!

A dog had followed his owner to school. His owner was a fourth grader at a public elementary school. When the bell rang, the dog sidled inside the building and made it all the way to the child's classroom with him before a teacher noticed him and shoo'ed him back outside, and closing the door behind him. The dog sat down outside the door, whimpering and staring at the closed doors and not understanding in the least as to why he was refused entry. Then - God appeared beside the dog, patted him on the head to comfort him, and said, "Don't feel bad fella'.... they won't let ME in there either." Please be in prayers for Zeus,Shotgun,Angus,Beau & Faith! Please vote Honey #218255 Dotm & please support our DOTD!Thanks Beach Bums for vote 25,000! Hope you had a great Wednesday! Love ya! Can you teach an old dog new tricks? In 1523, an English guy named Fitzherbert penned a treatise on animal husbandry in which he advised readers that "the dogge must lerne when he is a whelpe, or els it wyl not be; for it is harde to make an old dogge to stoupe." Roughly translated, that's "you can't teach an old dog new tricks." It's a saying that's quite familiar today, even among non-pet owners. But is there any truth to it? To take this timeworn adage for a walk around the block, Myth Busters Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage found a pair of aging Alaskan malamutes who didn't know a single trick in the book. As 7-year-old canines, siblings Bobo and Cece were equivalent to a couple of 50-year-olds in dog years, arguably qualifying them for the "old dog" category. After four days of training, Bobo and Cece proved Fitzherbert flat wrong. Each could heel, sit, lie down, stay and shake upon command from Jamie and Adam. And since malamutes are known to be stubborn, Bobo and Cece's stellar performances definitively busted the myth and represented for old dogs everywhere................ ...................................... Doggie News: Please vote for our Mr. Pish #180814 For President! No more Fish vote for Mr. Pish (slogan by Grant). Be sure and vote for DOTD everyday. Today's DOTD is a surprise! Please vote Oscar #224404.We have several Dogs and their family members who are in need of prayer...Please remember them each day....Alabama Gang campaigning for Honey while she's unable to be here. Please vote for Honey #218255 everyday! Have a blessed, safe day! Love ya!

Happy New Year friends!

Trying to do a c/p for all our channel friends--- we just don't get to visit all of you as much as we'd like lately and miss all of our dear friends so much! To let all our DC friends know Ginger has some kidney disease now, but was given medication from the vet and we do hope it helps for awhile. Not a cure, but it is supposed to help her kidneys be more efficient. Will let you know when she is retested in another week or so. Do hope all is well with all of you and mom and dad too. We are doing well and mom is hanging in and handling the homefront. We look forward to sharing another year ahead with all our friends on CC, DC and SAC, though currently we have only kitties, dogs and humans in our family and Angel rats. Mom said she does not have enough time to add new members, but if a rescue comes along in any species, it will be considered or helped to find an appropriate home. We want to thank a dear friend of mom's, who recently adopted our cat Hefty--- you heard right, Hefty. No, never fear, he shall not leave our home! Mom's good friend said she wanted to help mom this year with her rescue expenses for our care. Since she really couldn't designate our care though mom's rescue group, she said she would send a monthly check directly to mom in Hefty's name. All she requires is occasional pictures and letters from her "Adopted Kitty Hefty." Mom could hardly say no to this request, so she agreed. We sincerely hope that Hefty's new mom and brother,Gato(who doesn't get along with him in real space) will join cc, so all our friends will meet them. Mom's friend, Hefty's second mom, have been friends since college days, so we are looking forward to welcoming her, when they are ready. The wind is really blowing around here and mom says its really cold out. Sure glad we don't have to live outside anymore and hold all those kitties and dogs who do in our prayers.

Come visit me, Angel Ginger #74386 Thank you all DOTD 8/22/14!, ANGEL LUCKY #74526 and mom says I ain't nothing but a hound dog!, Angel Quark #79059 DOTD 5/8/13 Thank You all!, TROOPER
