Good Night!
It was a very beautiful Saturday! Mommy's off weekends and she and Daddy had been working outside. Mommy had gone inside to get some iced tea for her & Daddy and she was taking some to Daddy when she started screaming Oh no! She then started running and screaming. We started running behind her. Daddy came running towards her screaming also. When Mommy finally stopped screaming she told Daddy there was a big black snake in the yard.I was BIG to! Daddy said it was a chicken snake we tried to get it cause it scared our Mommy but Daddy wouldn't let us. Mommy had dropped the tea and went back inside and got more. When she brought Daddy a glass of tea Lady started barking! Another big black snake. Lady killed the snake & Mommy threw her tea and ran back inside the house and read awhile. We played with the dead snake. So..how was your Saturday? Love ya!

Hello Everyone! Sorry for the c/p but we have ALOT of catching up to do. First off we want to thank everyone so much for Chips suprise DOTD and then for all the birthday wishes for my momma the next day. We have been real busy, a few weeks ago mom did go to her grandmas and the puppies are at their new home. There was a scare with the girl pup (Willow) and they thought we were gonna have to put her down, but she is fine now her and her brother Radar are both doing well, very cute little bundles of fur. We will upload pictures when we can. Then mom got sick and she has been really sick all week. More so on her birthday so it wasn't too good of day for her but I got to keep her company all day and take care of her. I hope you are all doing well, Hows your Spring been? We will try to be on again as soon as we can.

Mommy heard a big boom downstairs and went to check it out because Daddy makes wine and he has another batch going. Well the last few days he has had something happen that has never happened before. The wine bottles are blowing up! The wine goes everywhere. Guess what! Another one blew! Wine is all over the door, the floor...everywhere. Of course when Mommy opened the door, she stepped into the wet sticky stuff. She is not a happy camper. This time it isn'y us, Maya or EVEN Chewie in the perverbial doghouse...it's Daddy! Mommy called him on his cellphone at Uncle Bob's and told him about it...Bad Dad!
Today, Mommy has a few things lined up for us to do.
We are gonna make Amish Friendship Bread...That stuff is good. Especially the Apple Cinnamon one that Mommy Makes. We have to work on the Photo Albms because we have to write in where all the puppies are from under their names. Cool end result, but I think I will convince Mommy to do it without me. I have been working with my campaign manager, Maya and my poster designer/speech writer, Mommy planning everything out for my DOTM run in June. We are kind of nervous about running. I am a very sensitive guy, ya know. I have been watching the campaigning for the Republican Nomination for President and those people are brutal....even a penguin got in the act when he bit that Newt guy in St Louis! I sure don't want any strange birds biting me! Heck, I don't even want any birds I know biting me! BOL! I am just an all round friendly guy looking to make his way in the world by running for a position that lasts only a month, has no pay or insurance benefits and doesn't mean a hill of beans to the media or MOST of the general public and I am as nervous as a cat in a room full of rocking chairs! Shoot I can't even campaign for a little over a month and I would be sweating if a dog could do that. (Instead, I am panting like crazy!) At this rate I will hyperventilate and pass out and miss the whole thing! Oh well, if this doesn't work out, there is always acting! Usually, actors become politicians, I could do it the other way around. I could be a politician turned ACTOR! My first movie could be about a failed political campaign and the impact it had on the guys DOG! Maybe my speech writer/poster designer could write a screenplay and make the posters for the theater lobbies! She works cheap! hehehe Maya could work as my manager and line up other projects for me to do and scripts to paw through looking for the right one! I think I'll have "my people" call "their people" and set something up for July 1st right after my run just in case. Either way, win or lose, it always pays to think ahead and PLAN, PLAN, PLAN!! After all, there is never a LOSER, just those who DON'T WIN! hehehe

Good Evening!
How are you? We're fine! Lady is her old self but I think Mommy's been had!She never saw the kitten but everyday she's fed the dog & so have other people.But yesterday morning she went later than usual. The dog wasn't there. She called but he didn't show so Mommy got back in her car and started back home. About a mile up the road she saw the dog going up to a house! Evidently he had wandered down there and found some food and then people started leaving him food so he kept going back! Is she gullible or what? Have sweet dreams tonight! Love ya!

Can you believe that today all kinds of amazing things happened. We did not get any rain or thunderstorms (although the wind did blow some)for a change! Maya and I did pretty good at practicing our new tricks we are to learn. We didn't do as well on take it and drop it as we did on embarrass, but we did okay! Maya is learning and I am having a refresher on touch...if you have ever watched Victoria Stillwell, you know that one! Nobody got in any trouble at all today. Even Me! That means two days in a row no time outs, no scoldings, no bad dog and no evil eyes!! How about them apples! (there's another one of those dumb human sayings...what do apples have to do with anything?) Maya hasn't chased Lucky all day long. Mommy is behind on my blogs but she did get all the laundry done and fixed supper. Tomorrow she has to clean house and make a cheesecake cause Grandma and Aunt Mindi are coming to our house Wednesday so we will be behind both days no doubt....BOL! You just can't find good help nowadays! Oh well, she does work cheap so I guess I can't complain too much! hehehe Daddy is watching the St.Louis Blues hockey game so Mommy is not watching tv. She says she can't keep track of the puck so she gave up on hockey a long time ago! Now as many of you know, when football season starts every Sunday and again on Monday Nights with Thursday nights added once they start playing then too is all booked up cause Mommy loves her football! Me too. I have a plush football and a plastic one and boy can I play with them! I am better than lots of the "pros"! I don't want to brag too much, but I am a heck of a lot cuter than most of them, too! Mommy says I am cuter than ALL of them but I don't want to sound too conceited or anything! I do seem to be kind of popular when Mommy takes me places! Maya seems to turn quite a few heads, too! I guess Paprazzi will be popping up one of these days! I sure am glad Brad and Angelina got engaged so it takes some of the attention away from me and my sister! I mean we all need a break now and then, ya know? Well Maya is catching up on her beauty sleep right now and I think a nap sounds pretty good myself. Gotta keep up my strength so I can keep all those fans at bay! BOL! Bark at ya later.

I have a favor to ask you. Mommy has been putting together a photo album of our DC Friends for me and Chewie. It is really nice. We can't use copying pictures from the DC pages cause the resolution is to low and when Mommy had them printed they were awful!
Snapfish told Mommy the necessary resolution for different sized pictures, that's how she knows.
Our friends have been sending us photos for the album and sometimes they ask for pictures of us! It has been fun! Would you consider mailing us pictures of you for our Friends Album? How are you doing in SA??? we are having great weather here, myuncle from maryland came to visit during Easter Sunday and he went to see the Alamo for the first time ever. he said they didnt go in but took pics from the outside. have a fun week

howdy Toby
so glad you have had some nice weather. that is always good. Well I have been having a hard time with mom. She says she has been busy and just hasn’t had the time to get on the dog channel for me. I don’t know I can tolerate that too many more times. She had to take advantage of the cooler weather to work in the yard. Her and oma had a bunch of stuff to do, plant and dig up. There is a house just a few doors down and across the street that is going into foreclosure. Oma and her friend next door to it were friends with them. anywho, they didn’t want all of her flowers to go to waste. So mom was recruited to go dig them up. Well some of them at least. She had to dig all kinds of things for all the older ladies in the neighborhood. Then mom had to come home and plant them too. plus they had to get veggies out. so all that is done and mom says about time. besides all that we have been out and about some too. I got several great walks at the library park and the church field. I have been enjoying the cooler temps too. today was another hot one though. this week is supposed to be cooler again so they may be out there again some. Plus this is our big shopping week. So we may be off and on this week. Don’t worry if I am not here. I brought you some sgetti, cheesy bread, sweet tater treats and some Stromboli too. hope you enjoy it. wishing you a blessed rest of your Sunday and an awesome week. Sorry for the C/P but mom is in the weeds deep this week! We are trying to decide if we are going to list our house again and mom has been interviewing realtors, and getting ready for them to preview the house. This has all been on top of family illness, homeschooling and everyday house chores. We are hoping to slow down soon. Mom has still been taking me for walks every night so I am happy. She also has been giving me extra treats because she feels guilty for not playing with me much. I keep telling her it is ok I like to sleep on her bed but she still feels bad. Too busy to write a long blog today But will try to do better either tomorrow or Monday! The storms have subsided for now and that is good. Our front yard and even the rock driveway looks like a lake, or at least a gigantic puddle! Mommy said as soon as things dry out she has to mop the floor in the foyer and me and Maya BOTH get baths!! Oh Boy! Lucky us!
Earlier when we went out to potty, Maya ended up looking like a drowned rat when we came in. She has a towel that Mommy has been wiping mud off her feet and then one to dry off her hair. Maya takes too long to do her business! Not me...if it's raining outside I hurry up and get 'er done and get back in the house. She may be older but about that I am definately smarter. She pulls her feet up when she steps in a puddle like ew,that's icky and I am prissy. I don't want to get my feet wet. But she stands out in the pouring rain because she can't decide where to pee! OMD! Gotta go but I will try to do a regular blog tomorrow if I can!
