How We Met?
Sadly, I just had to put my 6 year old Rottie down, as he had Cancer, and had suffered long enough. The Vet that helped me with him felt bad for me, and took in a 7 week old Rottie pup that needed surgery, and the owners were going to put her down. He took her in, gave her the surgery, and gave her to me free of charge!
***UPDATE*** It is with a very heavy heart that I write this! I just lost Sadie Mae on 8/13/08. She was only 11 weeks old! The two surgeries she had had healed. They were for intussuseption of the intestine. Well, she took a turn for the worse, and started throwing up all her food for 2 days, and then wouldn't eat. She became very lethargic, so I rushed her to the Vets. I spent 12 hours there between 2 different Vets that day, 14 xrays later, 3 Dr's later, only to find out that there was nothing we could for her. We could have given her a third surgery, but the prognosis was not good at all, and they believed that it would just keep happening. Plus they had already removed part of her intestine, and if they would have removed more, she would have further complications with trying to be able to digest her food. Since I just had to put Bear to rest on 7/31/08, it made it even more rough. I was so attached to her and I can't believe I had to let go of another baby! My sirits are very down right now! So, right now, it's just time to spoiling General!
