Q. Are white markings permitted on the Rottweiler?
A. The Rottweiler is always black with rust to mahogany markings. The American Kennel Club breed standard is very precise in its description of where the tan markings must appear on the dog. White markings anywhere on the dog – anything more than a few white hairs – are considered a serious fault and would be penalized in the show ring.
