I just read the article on flea and tick control. I had 10 dogs last year and I was using Pet Armour Plus because it was about half the cost of Frontline. I put topical treatments on my dogs every month. I lost 2 of my dogs last year in September, they were older, but the one got really sick after I put the Pet Armour Plus on them and she ended up having kidney failure(she had all the symptoms of pesitcide poisoning). Needless to say I lost both of my dogs, 1 Westie and 1 Daschund, they were both 14 years old. I think it was the Pet Armour Plus. Wal Mart is not carrying Pet Armour Plus anymore... you can buy Pet Armour but not the Plus and I think they know there was problems with it and I can imagine there was alot of dogs with pesticide poisoning. I am heartbroken over my loss and I feel I am to blame because I was trying to save money. I have went back to Frontline Plus but I am still nervous about using any product. Could you please invesitgate and see why Wal Mart is not carrying Pet Armour PLUS. Thank you.

Hi. I'm developing a dog product and am interested in magazine and other media advertising and/or promotion opportunities. Can you provide kits and rates for your publications? Thank you!

I have been reading dog fancy magazine for 12 years now. I love that this magazine is committed to getting information to dog owners and in more recent years you have taken on the cause of informing dog owners about dogs in need. I am a pitbull owner and was so excited to see a pitbull on the cover, finally, a magazine that showed the true side of a pitbull. It is for this reason that I was disappointed to read about the stray dog epidemic, not in dog fancy, but in rolling stone. There are over 50,000 stray dogs in Detroit right now, and only 29 dog catchers. The non-profit organization Detroit dog rescue is doing everything they can, but the mayor of Detroit is trying to keep this under wraps. Please, if dog fancy is truly the magazine that I think it is, you will put information about this dog lover catastrophy in your next issue. There are dogs out there that need help, and no one will listen!
