Is your newest canine addition the center of your life? And the subject of most of your photos?

Here's your chance to share your puppy’s first Christmas with other dog lovers.

Kennel Club Books is collecting photographs for a full-color book called “Puppy’s First Christmas,” which will feature the very best of the photographs received.

The owners of the five best holiday dog photos will receive an autographed copy of the book and a free one-year subscription to DOG FANCY.

Entries must be submitted by October 15, 2007.

Digital images must be high resolution, 300 dpi, no smaller than 3-by-3 inches and no larger than 8-by-10 inches, in jpeg or tiff formats.

All photographs will be published in a complimentary fashion. Entries become the property of BowTie Inc., which reserves the right, without further consideration, to use all photos in any publication, media, and related promotions. The company cannot confirm receipt of or return entries.

this is my second attempt to find out about a picture i sent in for puppys first christmas,also about when this book will be out. i sent a picture of my doberman puppy shadow at 5 weeks of age with santa. i lost her to doberman hepatitas this past feb she was only 4 years old and i would love to see her picture in this book, it was hard for me to part with that picture but it would have been perfect. please e mail me back thank you andrea hines

i sent a picture in of my dog and i have not heard if it was chosen for the book. when will we know if our puppies have made the book and when can we get the book?

What a wonderful contest! Zeke hasn't seen his first Christmas yet, but once he does I hope that there will be more contests like this one.

I think puppy's first Christmas is a very good idea. I'm sure there will be dozens of cute photos.
