After 14-month-old Sara the Rottweiler got her distemper booster shot, something went very, very wrong.
“She was diagnosed with early stages of kidney disease, and my vet told me she was never going to see her second birthday,” says her owner, Brenda W. of Illinois, who became a canine nutrition consultant as a result of the experience. “I wasn’t going to take that as an answer. So because conventional medicine couldn’t save Sara, I got involved in alternative medicine.”
