Organic Beef and Chicken Jerky from PetGuard Our dog testers snapped up these USDA-certified-organic treats like they were going out of style. We like that the treats are made and sourced in the United States, without any corn, soy, wheat, yeast or artificial ingredients.

Clean Teeth Gel from TropiClean After more than one month of using the natural oral care product, one tester noticed improvement in his dog’s teeth: the dog’s gums no longer bled, and the tester could see a noticeable improvement in the reduction of tartar and plaque. Results will vary.

Green Tea Grooming Wipes from Earthwhile Endeavors After a trip to the dog park or a romp in the yard, Green Tea Grooming Wipes are a quick-and-easy way to clean your dog between baths. Our testers loved the simple packaging that kept the wipes moist and the fresh fragrance of the all-natural product. The wipes left testers’ dogs soft and shiny with no sticky residue.

Drymate Dog Bowl Place Mat from RPM Even the gentlest dogs occasionally slurp and spill water outside of the water bowl. As many of our testers found, the Drymate Dog Bowl Place Mat protects floors from spills. Water won’t seep through the mat, and it doesn’t deteriorate after a spin in the washing machine and dryer (on a low setting).

Laughing Leash from Laughing My Tail Off Testers raved about the soft, scrunchee-like leash, which expands to 6 feet. This capability prevents the leash from tangling and dragging on the ground although control can be a challenge. The leash’s soft material is fashionable and comfortable to grip.
FitPaws Peanut from Ball Dynamics International Two Cairn Terrier testers couldn’t get enough of the FitPaws Peanut, an oblong exercise ball meant to strengthen dogs’ legs and core. The FitPaws Peanut improved one dog’s balance after one month of use. For our testers, the product was a fun way for dogs to exercise and bond with their owners. The Peanut comes with an instructional DVD.

Condo Canine Tray from the Cosmopolitan Canine For dog owners with limited mobility or who live in high-rise apartments or harsh climates, the Condo Canine Tray offers a sanitary solution. The urine flows beneath the artificial grass and is captured in small pee pads, which turn the liquid into a gel that won’t leak out.

Humunga Stache from Moody Pet A favorite among our testers – canine and human – the hilarious handlebar mustache toy, made of natural rubber, brought smiles to everyone’s faces. It also stood up to chewing and gnashing from dogs of all sizes.
Bear’s Stairs 4-Step Mini Pet Stairs from Animal Stuff One of our testers has been searching for a solid set of dog stairs so her 50-pound ,3-year-old dog can access the bed without hurting herself. She found the solution with Bear’s Stairs 4-Step Mini Pet Stairs, constructed of sturdy wood and covered in carpet.

Quantum Leash from Kurgo Products We were won over by the creative concept behind this leash, which can be worn several ways. The four-in-one product can be used as a 6-foot or 3-foot leash, worn around the shoulders or waist, or used to walk two dogs at once. Take note: Dogs that strain and pull on the leash might undo the Velcro.
Robbie Dawg Organic Treats from Robbie Dawg We like that these treats contain no salt, sugar, artificial ingredients or preservatives. But the real draw is the design: Each baked and scored treat can easily be snapped into four tiny pieces so calorie-conscious owners can avoid overfeeding their dogs during training. Robbie Dawg Organic treats are available in various flavors, including Real Brooklyn Pizza and Honey BBQ Chicken. The treats are wheat, corn and soy free, which is helpful for dogs with food allergies or intolerances.

Wander Bed from Kurgo Products Tested by small and medium-sized dogs, the lightweight, high-quality roll-up bed impressed our evaluators. For further convenience, it sports a built-in zipper compartment to hold toys, leashes and more.
Tagnabbit from Petmate This simple product allows you to attach your dog’s tags to the clasp, so they can easily be moved to different collars. Although the product is small, it was surprisingly easy to add new tags to the clasp and move the clasp from one collar to another, one tester noted. It’s ideal for someone who often changes their dog’s collar or switches between a collar and a harness.

Ewww Enzyme Powered Stain and Odor Remover from Bissell In a stroke of good fortune, one of our testers’ dogs vomited on carpeted stairs after the tester brought the Bissell cleaning product home for testing. Delighted by the user-friendly design and pleasant smell, our tester reported the stain and odor remover effectively treated each stain.

Pet Water Bottle from Dog Is Good If you’re on the road or cooling down after an agility run, Dog Is Good offers an innovative and attractive product for hydrating your dog. The stainless steel, BPA-free water bottle features a roller ball, which the dog licks to release the water. The water bottle eliminates the need to carry a separate bowl and keeps drips to a minimum.

Knit Knacks from Pet Flys They might not stand up to serious chewers, but these charming knitted toys became quick favorites among our product evaluators. For those owners interested in helping the less fortunate, a portion of the proceeds from each toy goes toward the Pets of the Homeless charity.
Yikes! Compact Deep Cleaner from Bissell The Yikes! machine did a terrific job cleaning up after a dog and cat in a real-life test of its abilities. The machine is relatively lightweight, considering its cleaning ability, and heats the water it uses to clean. For dogs with digestive issues or occasional “accidents,” this heavy-duty cleaner is worth the investment.

Kryptaglow Body Harness from Coleash Co. Offering a number of innovative features, the Kryptaglow Body Harness glows in the dark, reflects headlights, has side loops for pull training and can be attached to a car seat belt.
