Animal Fighting in Focus
A new reward program is offering $5,000 to Mississippians who report illegal animal fighting. In announcing the program Monday in Jackson, a representative of the Humane Society of the United States was joined by law enforcement officials and state Rep. Cecil Brown, who plans to introduce a bill to fortify the state’s animal cruelty laws, the Clarion-Ledger (Miss.) reports.
