Ashley Tisdale doesn’t mind the attention her 1-year-old Maltese-Poodle mix Maui receives.
“Everybody that meets her falls in love,” the “High School Musical” star told People. “We call it Maui Fever.”
Tisdale says Maui knows how to wow a crowd as well as any veteran performer. “When she gets excited, she starts to jiggle and tap dance like the penguins from ‘Happy Feet,’” she says. “This dog has great comedic timing.”
Unfortunately, Maui’s a little less accomplished when it comes to potty training.
“Because we were in hotels all the time and traveling when she was little, she would want to go to the bathroom in the bathroom,” laughs Tisdale, who totes Maui from city to city in a Louis Vuitton pet carrier. “Still today, if I’m in an airport, she will go in the airport stall.”
