Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony Sued Over Dog Attack

Flight attendant says the pair’s protection dog caused an injury to her back.

Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony are being sued by a flight attendant who says their “personal protection dog” attacked her onboard a private Gulfstream IV jet in 2006.

In documents filed with the Brooklyn Federal Court in New York, flight attendant Lisa Wilson says German Shepherd Dog Floyd “growled and lunged at her,” and “head-butted her leg, and she fell and seriously injured her back.”

Wilson’s lawyers say Wilson was carrying silverware, and that Anthony and Lopez knew that sharp objects tended to set off Floyd.

Anthony also allegedly instructed Wilson “not to make eye contact with the dog and to call Floyd by his name if she needed to pass,” further proof, Wilson’s lawyers say, that the couple knew the dog was dangerous.

Veterinarian Karen Overall, DVM, submitted an eight-page report supporting Wilson’s lawsuit.

“It is clear to me that Floyd … behaved inappropriately, aggressively and in a manner that consistently endangered humans,” she said.

Why didn't Wilson listen to the instructions for being near the dog? I think she's trying to reap a big payday. I hope there is no retaliation against the dog.

1st, Dogs only have to fly in a crate on commercial flights, this was a private flight. 2nd, the attendants comments about the dog behaving in a manner that endangered humans is void due to the fact that she was warned and instructed on how to act in the vicinity of the dog. Its called a protection dog for a reason... She needs to own up to her mistake and accept the consequences of her actions.
