Bill Would Probe Link Between Animal Cruelty and Child Abuse
A Connecticut bill that would require state and local officials to judge connections between animal cruelty and potential child abuse will be revived next year. Rep. Diana Urban says she plans to re-introduce the legislation, which would require the state Department of Children and Families and the Department of Agriculture to cross-report animal cruelty and child abuse, the Connecticut Post reports.
