Beth Ostrosky Stern, animal advocate and host of National Geographics Wild's "Spoiled Rotten Pets" visited Best Friends Animal Society’s sanctuary, the nation's largest no-kill facility for homeless pets.
While at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Beth toured the animal care areas and met some of the 1,700 dog, cats, horses and other creatures who find refuge there in the scenic red rock canyon country of Kanab, Utah.
Best Friends Animal Society is a national animal welfare organization building no-kill programs and partnerships that will bring about a day when there are No More HomelessPets®. The society's leading initiatives in animal care and community programs are coordinated from its Kanab, Utah headquarters, the country's largest no-kill sanctuary.
Beth and her husband, radio personality and TV host Howard Stern, are both devoted animal lovers and longtime supporters of Best Friends.
A cat and dog lover by nature, she toured all the animal care areas, but according to Best Friends, it was the pigs who stole the show. Looks to use like the dogs had a good time too!
