Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending a fundraiser benefiting a great organization, Muttville Senior Dog Rescue. The Pug Summer Carnival was held at  Dog Patch Wine Works in Muttville's home town of San Francisco, Calif. and featured celebrity Pugs, Minnie and Max.

So what happens at a Pug carnival at a winery one may ask? This happens:

There were Pugs, so many Pugs, of all shapes and sizes, dressed in a variety of costumes.

At least 40 Pugs attended dressed in costumes, running wild and free while owners drank Pug- themed wine and shared Pug-filled stories. But aside from the all the Pug-tivities, at the heart of the event were the wonderful senior dogs at Muttville, waiting to find forever homes.
