Dog Happily Interrupts Newscast

A dog just can’t wait to be part of the NBC 6 news report.

NBC 6 in South Florida has a "Pet of the Week” segment in which they feature pets needing forever homes. The most recent pet of the week, a 1-year-old American Bulldog mix named King, was just so excited to be part of the feature that he couldn’t wait for his segment.

He bounded on set, interrupting meteorologist Ryan Phillips during the weather broadcast. Phillips welcomed the interruption, petting king before asking to go to a map so they could get the eager dog off the set gracefully. It may have been funnier to see it, but one could guess what’s happening by the audio. Perhaps King was just trying to show off his weatherman skills in an attempt to up his likelihood of adoption.

His second on-screen performance was a little more subdued:
Pooches in Pines is the volunteer group looking for a forever home for King. The adoption includes microchipping, vaccinations and neutering.

I think after King’s television performances he won’t have any trouble finding a forever home.
