Dog Training Tips from ‘America’s Cutest Puppy’ Judge

Dog trainer Kathryn Segura, who has worked with animals on films like “There’s Something About Mary,” “The Addams Family,” and “Tin Cup,” will produce a series of pet training segments for

The trainer, who has also appeared as a judge on “America’s Cutest Puppy” on the WE network, will also provide help to listeners via email. is an online music station for dogs and cats. The station – which has been in operation just shy of two years – claims over 6 million listeners worldwide, and has been featured on CNN and “Good Morning America.”

DogCatRadio also broadcasts programming for humans, including segments on cooking healthy dog meals, exercising with your dog, nutrition tips, and celebrity interviews – all interspersed among dog- and cat-friendly ditties like Elvis’s “Hound Dog” and Dionne Warwick’s soothing “That’s What Friends are For.”

“I’m really excited to be part of and help pet owners with pet behavior issues,” said Segura in a statement released by the company.

Segura’s first training segment will air next month.

I think it's a great idea. I have a chocolate lab that I adore but is a handful! It's great to know there are alternative training tactics. No offense to Cesar Milan but I think he's to harsh with is training methods.
