Ten Dogs Found Dead in Indiana Park
Police looking for whoever dumped dogs in a pile.
Police in Indiana are investigating the deaths of 10 dogs found dumped in a wooded park area on Jan. 13, according to the Fort Wayne Journal-Gazette.
The dogs nine Labrador Retriever mixes and a Brittany were found in a pile near the Salamonie Reservoir in Huntington County, the paper reported.
Sheriff Kent Farthing said that the dogs did not have any gunshot wounds or other visible injuries, and no autopsies were performed because it would have been too expensive. Officers with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources buried the dogs where they were found.
Anyone with information can call the Huntington County Sheriffs Department at (260) 356-8316.
