Rescued Dogs in Sterling Heights, Mich., Get TLC
The 60 dogs and puppies that police removed Wednesday from a kennel are getting treated for physical and emotional ailments. The dogs, a dozen cats, and a horse were found living in conditions that were termed deplorable. The animals removed have been placed with area animal groups, hospitals and shelters, The Detroit News reports.
