lago kennels is located in manteca, ca. we breed akc championship bloodline english bull terriers. about three months ago the city council passed a law stating that all bullies within city limits must be fixed. we had to go through a complicated procedure of getting a new dog breeders permit. the city of manteca, ca is very prejudice towards dogs.

I do love my hometown. I moved back to the town I grew up in after college to be closer to my family. Unfortunately my small town is not a dog friendly as I would like however I took the quiz for a town about 20 minutes from where I live and it is super dog friendly. At least there are dog friendly activities close to my home.

Our town has lots off dogs but no events or parks for them. Most of the dogs just run lose and eat garbage on collection day. This is not a dog friendly town!

I think they should have a group of people go around making dog parks.

My town is very dog friendly, but we dont have things like a dog park, people just bring their dogs to a regular park or something. it seemes like every one is ussesed with dogs in my town, though!

Interesting survey. My home town could use some extra events.

I have really seen a difference the past several years. We have several stores you can take your dog. Also we have a doggie event about every other month. The dog park is about 25 miles away from me though! I try to go at least once a month... but with gas prices.... great quiz though makes you think....

I think that our city needs to allow dogs on leashes in more stores. While, in general we are very dog friendly it does not include being able to take you dog into stores.
