Kiwi ATL, GA 9/5/2010 7:19:17 PM I have no idea what B.C and Pam are talking about, but beagles *do* shed. I've had nothing but beagles my whole life and I'd always find dog hair everywhere. Beagles are fabulous dogs and they're what us vet techs like to call average shedders, meaning they shed at least 2-3x a year. They tend to shed the most in the spring and in the fall/early winter. Other than them being average shedders, beagles do make great family pets.
