I have owned in the past the following non shedding,,,Airdale (great dogs-hard headed-need groomed-can have ear issues), Giant,Standard & Mini schnauzer (probably the easiest if you can groom your own), Chinese Crested Hairless (excellent-but have skin issues),Xolo-(excellent-but have skin issues), Labradoodle (they shed terrible, but dont set my allergies off-if you can stand the hair they are wonderful)

The Shih Tzu is also hypoallergenic. Their fur is actually hair, and falls out at the same rate as humans, or comes out in a come as ours. I raised puppies and placed a pup in a home with an owner who is very allergic to dogs, and was just fine with a Shih Tzu. Spread the word! Fabulous friendly pets and not yappy like some small dogs.

Most Cocker Spaniels Don't shed at all! But Cavalier King Charles Spaniels do have medium shedding.

Many people think that Labradoodles and Goldendoodles don't shed. They are mix breeds and some don't but others do it depends on the coat type.

You have left out Rhodesian Ridgebacks,Boxers, Dobermans. All are larger dogs, yet their shedding is minimal as well as grooming costs.

Although my two Basenjis (brother & sister) shed, it is far less than most breeds with fur. One unique traight is their lack of odor. Even if they get wet, there is NO SMELL!!! Very little dander as well.

I have a maltese/shi-tzu mix. She does not shed, is very even tempered, well behaved, easy to train. Have her groomed...but only every 5-6 weeks. Highly recommend these two breeds.

We have an Italian Greyhound that if she sheds, I've never seen it. She's and inside dog, extremely intelligent -- but needy. She likes to be close to you.

We have a 5 year old Peek-a-Poo and he sleeps in our bed and does not shed at all. He gets a bath once a week and is very low maintenace.

We have a 3 year old Porty (Portuguese Water Dog). They have a wonderful disposition, are extremely smart and do not shed. Grooming is once every five weeks because we keep her in a retriever cut (1" length). These dogs however are very high energy and need at least an hour or two of play everyday.
