Carrie Ann Inaba of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” set aside her scorecards and judging remarks on Saturday, April 14, when she teamed up with Bacardi USA to present a puppy to his new family.
The rescue puppy, appropriately named Snowjito, was presented to the Lake County Search and Rescue Team in Vail, Colorado, by the renowned dancer turned reality TV judge.
Representatives from the privately-funded Lake County Rescue Team were indeed grateful for their doggie donation – Snowjito is now rescue dog No.2 in the 50-member volunteer team.
The presentation was held in conjunction with the “Spring Back to Vail” season closing celebration – an event that includes live music acts (rocker Kid Rock headlined this year) and the World Pond Skimming Championships, a fun competition in which costumed entrants attempt to ski or snowboard across the pond at the base of Golden Peak.
