Vanessa Williams Appeals for Help Finding Lost Dog

“Ugly Betty” actress Vanessa Williams fears her missing Yorkshire Terrier may have been stolen.

Vanessa Williams, who stars as Wilhelmina Slater on “Ugly Betty,” is asking for help in finding her missing Yorkshire Terrier, Enzo, who disappeared from her Chappaqua, N.Y., yard on Monday.

Williams filed a report about the missing dog with Mount Pleasant police late Monday after she returned home from an errand to find Enzo missing from her fenced yard.

Enzo is the second high-profile dog to disappear in the area in recent weeks. Ken Chandler, former publisher of the New York Post, and Dr. Erika Schwartz, an author, have both appealed to the media for help in finding their Dachshund, Gus, who went missing from Teatown Lake on Mother’s Day.

Williams told reporters that she fears a dognapping ring is at work in the area. But Mount Pleasant Police Chief Louis Alagno dismissed the idea and suggested instead that coyotes, which are common in the area, are snatching the small pets.

Chandler and Schwartz have hired a pet detective to help locate their lost dog, as well as a publicist to work with the media.

Chandler and Schwartz have also offered a $2,500 reward for Gus’s safe return.

Look Vanessa, I think you should do a commercal on tv or go on the news! Say you'll give them 25,000 dollers or whatever you want and people will go nuts lookingb for Enzo! Then sooner or later they'll find her or him! (by the way I wish I was you cause you're a good actress also the movie you stared in, got to kick it up, was or is my favorite!

Good luck!!!! People just don't know that they aren't DOGS to us. They are our babies. I love the idea of a search channel. If there is a dog ring then there isn't much luck of her finding the dog. I am mad about the police!!!! If it was a car, boat,or other none living item they would take is serious. Why not our loved ones!!!!
Again, good luck. My prayers are with you.
